Report on: The informative day of Gimnazija Jesenice

Introduction:

This report is penned by a Gimnazija Jesenice student with a purpose of presenting the event’s schedule, content and its own purpose. The report also features some comments and suggestions. It is made to satisfy necessities of the ITS subject.

Schedule:

The informative day took place on the date of 14.2. and 15.2 2020 inside the establishment of the Gymnazium of Jesenice . There were two terms on the first day (at 9:00 and 15.00) and one term on the second day (at 9:00). The programme began in the school’s larger gym with speeches of the school’s headmaster, professors and some students of the school, followed by the performance given by the Leteči medvedki group. Then the visitors were told about a wide amount of facts about the school itself, languages thought and programmes taking place. After that, they were taken on a tour of the school and visited various classrooms. At the end, the visitors were also gifted with a little snack.

Content:

Students and professors firstly presented the ITS subjects and gave essential info about writing reports and articles. Then, they ran scientifical experiments in physics and chemistry. Working with a microscope was also shown in biology class.

Comments:

There were no errors in the actual execution and the whole event was well organized. But visitors were, in a few cases, given too much information about things that potential students probably weren’t very interested.
